CPOSC

The CPOSC 2008 presentation slides are now linked from the speakers page. Just click on the title of the talk to download them.

We are still missing a few, so if you spoke at the conference and your slides aren’t linked… please send in a copy when you get a chance. ;)

I’ve uploaded some photos from yesterday to Flickr. You can add your own photos by joining our CPOSC group then adding your photos to the pool, and by tagging your photos with “cposc08″.

CPOSC 2008 is done! Really amazingly cool day with lots of interesting people. Thanks to everyone for coming and making it a success!

If you post photos to Flickr (and we hope you do!) please be sure to tag them with cposc08 so everyone can find them. We’ll be creating a Flickr group shortly to add your photos.

Watch the CPOSC site for a few more updates and “post mortem” information in the coming weeks. The first goal is to get all the presentation slides online as soon as possible.

CPOSC 2008 begins in less than 12 hours!

Park in the rear lot, use the ITT Student Entrance, and follow the signs to the registration table. Registration is from 8AM to 9AM, and the first talk starts at 9AM.

Please check out our sponsors, and we’ll see you tomorrow! :)

The location page has been updated, and now includes photos of the building. ITT shares the building with Belco Community Credit Union, so you’ll see signs for both places outside.

Be sure to use the ITT Student Entrance on the rear of the building!

The CPOSC wiki is up and running! There are pages for ride sharing and birds of a feather ideas to get started.

We are using PBWiki to host the wiki, so you’ll either need to use the invite key (cp0sc) or create an account to edit. And don’t worry, if you use the invite key, the email address you enter doesn’t need to be a valid one. ;) Just click the edit link on any page and have at it!

The schedule for this year’s Central PA Open Source conference is ready! It is subject to change, but we think this is pretty close to the finished product. There will be printed schedules available at the event, so no need to print this out to bring with you.

The doors open at 8am and just follow the signs for registration, breakfast and directions to the event rooms.

One month to go until CPOSC 2008!

if you register by Monday, September 22nd, you’re guaranteed a CPOSC commemorative t-shirt in your size. If you wait, there may be t-shirts available but you’ll have to settle for whichever sizes for which we have extras. So don’t delay, register now!

You can now register for CPOSC 2008 online at cposc.eventbrite.com. Tickets are $29 each and include access to all talks, breakfast, and lunch. Attendees who sign up before September 19 will receive a CPOSC 2008 t-shirt!

The number of tickets is limited, so don’t wait to register!

We’ll be opening registration to one and all starting on Monday! There’s a limited number of tickets available, so watch for the registration URL to be posted here and on Twitter.
