Stephanie Schwartz is a Computer Science professor at Millersville University. She received her Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Delaware and her B.S. in Computer Science from Shippensburg University. Her research interests include user modeling, cognitive modeling, machine learning, data mining, and artificial intelligence in general. She teaches courses ranging from beginning programming courses to upper-level electives in artificial intelligence and data mining. Before teaching, she worked as a software engineer at several companies including MapQuest (now owned by AOL), AMP (now part of Tyco), and Primavera Software (now apparently part of Oracle — because in the tech industry, change is the only constant).
