Tim Freund is a software developer who stumbled in to operations automation. His team manages a private OpenStack cloud, and he helps development teams learn how to write cloud enabled applications and implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
Tim is a jack of all trades, and he’s learned from a healthy mix of smart and dumb actions in his career. He works mostly with Linux, Python, Puppet, Bash, and Emacs today, and he dabbles with many other tools.
Outside of work he spends most of his time cooking and renovating a row home in Lancaster, PA. He has a literal and figurative soft spot for doughnuts, coffee, and barbecue.
